We are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our delivery team, based at our Whitehaven office supporting projects at Sellafield as well as additional schemes as they progress. About the Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial and financial management of key projects, working closely with Senior QSs, Project Leads, Commercial Director and wider operational teams. You will assist in ensuring commercial objectives are met, support contract administration processes, and help maintain accurate financial reporting to contribute to project profitability and effective cash flow management. This is a full-time position based at our Whitehaven office with visits to site at Sellafield, with occasional off site meetings as required. Key Responsibilities Provide pre and post contract commercial support to project and operational teams. Assist in preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts. Administer subcontractor accounts, including measurement, certification, and payment processes. Support the identification and management of commercial risks. Help prepare and maintain project cost reports, forecasts, and monthly contract reviews. Assist with identifying scope changes, carrying out change control processes, and securing commercial agreement. Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation. Work collaboratively with project teams and contribute to achieving positive project outcomes. Support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Leads as required. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Experience working within nuclear or other highly regulated environments is desirable; P4 Pass and SC Clearance advantageous but not essential. Ability to commute to Sellafield and our Whitehaven office. Strong collaborative approach and commitment to team success. Professional integrity and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and supply chain partners. Good problem solving skills and the desire to take initiative. Ability to manage workloads effectively with appropriate support. Willingness to contribute to wider business objectives beyond core tasks. Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor or proven experience within a similar role, ideally including infrastructure or engineering projects. Experience using CEMAR systems is beneficial. Working knowledge of NEC contracts, ideally Options A, C and E. Full UK driving licence.
