The Role
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead all pre-contract activities and ensure the successful transition of projects from client instruction through to contract execution. This is a pivotal role within TG Escapes, focused on securing viable, profitable projects while coordinating internal teams, consultants, and clients.
This role is office-based at our Coventry Head Office, therefore candidates must be within a commutable distance, although flexible/hybrid working may be available for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction Leadership
Act as the primary point of contact during the pre-construction phase for clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.

Challenge assumptions, value-engineer solutions, and mitigate commercial risk.
Support preparation of tender bids, proposals, and client presentations.
Programme Development
Establish preliminary design and manufacturing programmes aligned with TG Escapes’ build solutions.

As a Building Surveyor, you'll be working within the Architecture & Building Consultancy team, supporting them in delivering building surveying services to public and private sector clients. These services will typically include carrying out surveys of existing buildings, providing reports to clients as to their general condition, advising on repair and maintenance and / or scope for improvement, development or demolition. Advising clients regarding the condition of existing buildings and related matters including health & safety, environment/sustainability, Planning, Building Regulations and other relevant regulatory issues and supporting clients with regard to the delivery of solutions within the scope of building Surveying services. You will travel to undertake surveys, carry out site inspections, meet with clients and colleagues as required, which may be in varied locations across the UK. relationships.
