The Role This is not a traditional Water Hygiene management position where you will simply inherit an existing team and portfolio. Initially, the role will be hands-on. You will be responsible for: Surveying and scoping new Water Hygiene opportunities, supporting pricing and contract mobilisation. Initially delivering Water Hygiene monitoring and compliance works where required. Helping establish procedures, reporting, documentation and efficient operational systems. Advising on remedial requirements and coordinating subcontract resource where required. Ensuring services are delivered in line with ACOP L8, HSG274 and relevant Legionella compliance requirements. Supporting recruitment and ultimately building and leading a permanent Water Hygiene team. As workload increases, the intention is to build additional resource around you, allowing you to gradually step away from day-to-day delivery and ultimately take responsibility for the UK Water Hygiene division nationally. About You They aren't necessarily looking for somebody who is already heading up a large Water Hygiene division. More important is finding somebody with the knowledge, ambition and attitude to step up, take ownership and build something. Ideally, you will have: Strong Water Hygiene / Legionella compliance experience, including ACOP L8 and HSG274. Experience surveying and scoping works, with an understanding of pricing, mobilisation and contract delivery. Strong client-facing skills and commercial awareness. Confidence using technology, systems and reporting platforms, with an interest in improving processes and efficiency. A proactive and ambitious approach, with the confidence to bring your own ideas to the table. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally. Legionella Risk Assessment experience would be highly beneficial, while HTM 04-01 / healthcare experience would also be advantageous.
