About the Role
We are seeking an experienced M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle delivery of building services on a high-profile mixed-use development comprising residential units, commercial spaces, and shared amenities. The successful candidate will oversee all mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end M&E installation across residential and commercial components of the project.
Lead coordination between design teams, subcontractors, consultants, and site operations.
Review and manage M&E design drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
Develop project programmes, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure strict compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Oversee procurement of M&E equipment and subcontractors.
Manage cost control, variations, and quality assurance processes.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and progress reporting.
Ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural elements.
Support commissioning, testing, handover, and building services documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on large residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, public health, and building automation systems.
Ability to interpret complex design information and resolve technical challenges.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and construction processes.
Proficient in project management tools and reporting systems.
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline (preferred).
Membership of relevant professional bodies (CIBSE, IMechE, IET) is an advantage.
