Key Responsibilities: On a typical day, your responsibilities may include: Inspecting and testing Solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs or replacements of electrical components, such as inverters or wiring. Conducting preventive maintenance to prolong system life and improve efficiency. Reviewing system monitoring data to identify performance issues and recommend solutions. Supporting installations or upgrades of Solar PV systems, including assisting with wiring and electrical connections. Advising homeowners on system care and troubleshooting minor issues. Keeping accurate service records and maintaining documentation for compliance purposes. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times while working on-site. Essential Requirements: Part-qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). Basic knowledge of Solar PV systems or willingness to undertake training. Familiarity with UK electrical regulations and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers.
