Practical understanding of CDM 2015 and construction health & safety requirements. Relevant health & safety qualification such as NEBOSH Construction or IOSH Managing Safely. CSCS manager-level certification. Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, general arrangement drawings and technical documentation. Experience using project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Experience taking projects through commissioning and handover. Strong communication skills, with the confidence to deal with contractors, senior management and external stakeholders. Desirable Experience Experience working on 275kV or 400kV transmission projects. Previous experience working for or alongside a DNO, transmission operator or major HV infrastructure contractor. Experience with reactive power or grid stability assets such as shunt reactors, STATCOMs, synchronous condensers or SVCs. Knowledge of transmission network safety rules, connection processes, outage planning and energisation. Experience with GIS/SF6 equipment. Chartered engineering or project management status. Experience working within project finance or lender reporting environments. Experience supporting tendering and construction strategy development. What's in it for You? Salary of 60,000 - 80,000, dependent on experience. Opportunity to take ownership of a major UK grid infrastructure project. A genuinely hands-on delivery position with significant autonomy.
