Carry out installations of: Surface water drainage Foul water drainage Oily water drainage LV ducting and draw pits HV ducting LV and HV precast troughing Oversee excavation works and installation of blinding and concrete foundations. Manage excavation reinstatement, including backfilling and compaction. Undertake safe digging activities in accordance with HSG47 guidance. Marshal vehicles and safely bank excavators and site plant. Operate site plant, including forward tipping dumpers and ride-on rollers where required. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project safety, quality and environmental procedures. Monitor productivity and ensure programme targets are achieved. Support groundworks activities as required. Essential Requirements National Grid Person accreditation. EUSR Card . HSG47 (2-Day) - HV Substations certification. Manual Handling certification. Proven experience working on National Grid or HV Substation projects. Previous experience leading civil engineering gangs. Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and underground service avoidance. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Desirable Qualifications NPORS or CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper . NPORS or CPCS Ride-on Roller . Additional plant operation experience. Groundworks experience within utilities or power infrastructure. What's on Offer 28.00 per hour . 12-week contract.
