Site Manager

Gortmore are working with a Leading contractor who are seeking a Site Manager for an immediate start in the Inverness area.

The candidate must:

• Have Previous experience working on Civils projects working on Earthworks, drainage, Earthwork, service/drainage installation, Protection slabs etc.
• Must maintain daily site diary and evaluate site progress to agreed programme.
• Carry out Daily briefings and Toolbox talk.
• Manage gangs.
• Manage plant and site materials.
• Read and understand drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure workforce understand and adhere to project Risk assessments and Method statements.
• Have excellent communication skills and in delegating project information to work colleagues.
• Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
• Oversee and Ensure works are carried out to appropriate levels of cost, quality, and safety.
• Have in date SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS and Driving Licence.
