Our client is an established residential property management business with a portfolio of residential developments across London.
The business is looking to strengthen its management team by appointing someone who takes pride in service delivery, values professional relationships and can create an environment where property managers are supported to perform.

As Head of Block Management, you will take responsibility for overseeing the property management function, supporting the team and ensuring that developments are managed to a high standard.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will have the opportunity to influence how the department operates, strengthen client relationships and introduce improvements to systems and processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading, mentoring and developing a team of residential property managers.
Overseeing the management of a portfolio of residential blocks and developments across London.

Supporting client retention through responsive communication and effective problem-solving.
Working alongside senior leadership to identify opportunities for departmental improvement and business growth.
The skills and experience required
We are looking for a Head of Block Management who combines technical property management knowledge with the ability to support and develop others.
You may already be leading a department or working as a Senior Property Manager with experience mentoring colleagues and taking on additional operational responsibility.
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:
Strong working knowledge of residential block management, leasehold legislation and service charge processes.
Experience managing residential developments, including complex or large-scale schemes.
Experience supervising, mentoring or developing property management colleagues.
The ability to build relationships with clients, leaseholders and internal stakeholders.
A practical understanding of building safety, compliance and property maintenance.
Experience improving processes, resolving operational challenges and maintaining service standards.
Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills.
A recognised property management qualification, ideally ATPI or MTPI, or an equivalent qualification.
A professional approach to client meetings, deadlines and team leadership.
The ability to balance operational responsibilities with the development of people and client relationships.
Working arrangements
This is a visible leadership position that requires regular engagement with both the property management team and the developments under management.

Following successful completion of probation, one day working from home may be available, subject to operational requirements.
