The Role As Assistant Facilities Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operational management of the building, supporting the delivery of exceptional FM services while ensuring compliance, health & safety and customer satisfaction remain a top priority. Working closely with occupiers, contractors and the wider property management team, you'll help maintain the highest standards across this flagship asset. Key Responsibilities Support the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day management of the property. Build positive relationships with occupiers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Coordinate and monitor specialist service partners, ensuring service levels and KPIs are consistently achieved. Assist with contractor management, permits to work and compliance documentation. Support health & safety compliance, statutory inspections and risk management processes. Help oversee planned preventative maintenance and reactive works. Assist with service charge administration, budgeting and invoice processing. Support sustainability initiatives and ESG objectives across the building. Contribute to occupier engagement events and wellbeing initiatives. Produce reports, maintain accurate records and support operational audits. About You We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to build a long-term career within commercial real estate. You'll ideally have: Previous experience in a Facilities Management or Property Management role. Experience within commercial office environments. Strong organisational and communication skills. Excellent customer service and relationship-building ability. A proactive approach with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance (IOSH qualification desirable). Working towards or interested in IWFM membership or qualifications. This is a unique hybrid role that combines hands-on maintenance with exceptional resident service. You'll be the first point of contact for residents, oversee day-to-day estate operations, coordinate contractors and carry out minor maintenance works, helping to ensure the estate remains safe, compliant and presented to the highest standards. You'll ideally have: Experience within residential property, facilities management, maintenance or estate operations. Practical skills in basic repairs, painting and decorating and general property maintenance. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good knowledge of health & safety and building compliance. The ability to organise multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Confidence working independently while also being a strong team player. Good IT skills and experience using maintenance or works management systems. A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to provide an excellent resident experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager to join a live education project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of the site. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades. Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with health and safety legislation. Monitor project progress and maintain programme deadlines. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections. Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and project team to ensure smooth project delivery.
