Project Manager - Estates & Capital Projects
Tadworth, Surrey 30 Hours per Week £41,999 per annum (£33,599 pro rata)
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a meaningful role where your work will directly support children and young people? We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Manager to lead a variety of estates and capital projects, from building improvements and refurbishments through to policy development and compliance initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Estates & Health & Safety, you will oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with health, safety and safeguarding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage capital and small works projects across the estate.
- Define project scope, specifications, budgets and delivery timescales.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project budgets, risks and performance outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, CDM regulations and statutory requirements.
- Manage contractor vetting, inductions and performance.
- Maintain project documentation, risk registers and governance records.
- Line manage and support an Associate Project Manager.
About You
- Previous experience managing construction, refurbishment or estates-related projects.
- Strong budgeting, contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Sound understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
