Job Description:

Site Manager (Civils) -

Location: Sheffield
Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking an Site Manager with a strong Civil Engineering background to support the delivery of a new EV Charging Hub project in Cambridge. Working alongside the Site Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and supervision of subcontractors and site operatives.
• Monitor health & safety compliance and promote best practice on site.
• Support the delivery of civils works including groundworks, drainage, ducting, utilities, and associated infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
• Ensure project programmes are maintained and report on progress.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders as required.
• Maintain site records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on civils, infrastructure, or groundworks projects.
• Experience delivering EV charging, utilities, highways, or similar infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Valid SMSTS
• Valid CSCS Card
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
