Housing Officer
Hourly Rate: 30.06 (Umbrella)
Location: Chalkhill, London
Job Type: Temporary, Hybrid (Flexible Working)
We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent housing provider for a Housing Officer to manage and coordinate housing and estate services within a defined geographical patch in Chalkhill, London. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive and is committed to delivering high-standard services that meet the diverse needs of customers.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and maintain local multi-agency links to deliver efficient, coordinated services.
- Manage complaints effectively and maintain high customer service standards.
- Engage with local stakeholders and respond to enquiries from MPs, Councillors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead tenant and resident associations, ensuring satisfactory outcomes for residents and the organisation.
- Conduct regular estate inspections and monitor service contracts to ensure high standards.
- Manage complex tenancy and lease-related issues, including handling anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases and tenancy enforcement.
- Conduct viewings, manage new tenancy sign-ups, and ensure the well-being of new customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience managing Leasehold & shared ownership tenures.
- Knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour related legislation, including service charges.
- Ability to build and sustain working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer-focused services.
- Must have a driving licence as considerable independent travel is required.
