The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance of a manufacturing and process production site. You'll be responsible for overseeing production, stock control, HSE, compliance, budgets, resource management, continuous improvement initiatives and team performance, whilst working closely alongside the Engineering Manager.
The Environment
The business operates within a chemical manufacturing and process production environment, supplying key sectors including food, energy and water. This is a highly regulated industrial setting where safety, quality and operational excellence are at the forefront of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for site operations engineering and performance
- Leading Health, Safety, Environmental and Compliance activities
- Production planning and operational delivery
- Stock control and resource allocation
- Budget management and cost control
- Team leadership, development and performance management
- Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Working collaboratively with engineering, commercial and distribution teams

Candidates should ideally come from a manufacturing, industrial, process, chemical, production, shipping, or engineering environment and possess strong leadership experience. A technical qualification or engineering background would be advantageous, although the role is operationally focused.
