Freelance Site Manager - AMP8 Water

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a major AMP8 water infrastructure project in the Wiltshire area.
With a programme of work running through for the next couple years, this offers strong continuity for a freelance Site Manager looking to secure a long-term position within the AMP8 investment period.
The Project
Working on an operational water site, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a significant civils package associated with a phosphorus removal scheme.
The works will include:
Construction of a new reinforced concrete structure
Civil engineering works within a live operational environment
Ducting and associated infrastructure
Coordination and management of subcontractors
Managing daily site activities against the construction programme
Maintaining high standards across health & safety, quality and site compliance
Working closely with the wider project team to identify and resolve delivery issues
About You
We are looking for a Site Manager with a strong civils background who is comfortable taking ownership of delivery on site.
You should have:
Previous water, wastewater or utilities civils experience
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and infrastructure works
Experience delivering construction activities on live operational sites
A proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and keep works moving against programme
Strong understanding of HSEQ requirements
SMSTS, CSCS, Temporary Works and First Aid are required.
