Director / Senior Director - Planning & Development

London or Manchester

A leading property and planning consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Director / Senior Director to help drive the continued growth of its Planning & Development team.

This is a senior opportunity for a commercially minded planning professional with an established client network, strong technical expertise and a track record of winning new business.

You'll take the lead on:

• Developing and managing key client relationships.

• Winning new instructions and growing your own client portfolio.

• Advising on major planning and development projects.

• Working across sectors including residential, commercial, rural, renewables and healthcare.

• Providing senior leadership and mentoring within the planning team.

• Helping shape and grow the wider Planning & Development offering.

• MRTPI or MRICS Planning & Development.

• 10+ years' post-qualified experience.

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and development process.

• An established client base and proven business development record.

• Strong commercial, communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ambition to play a key role in growing a successful planning business.
