They are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join their expanding development team, supporting residential, mixed-use, and commercial schemes from acquisition through to planning consent. The role involves leading planning applications and appeals, advising internal development and acquisitions teams, assessing planning risks and opportunities, coordinating consultants and technical submissions, and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will also represent projects at planning committees and public consultations while contributing strategic planning insight to support business growth. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of professional planning experience gained within a developer, consultancy, or client-side environment, alongside a degree in Planning, Geography, or a related discipline. MRTPI qualification (or progress toward accreditation) is preferred. Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, stakeholder engagement, and complex planning applications is essential, together with excellent communication, project management, and organisational skills. Our client is a specialist safety and compliance business with a new requirement in the team for a Senior Asbestos Assurance Consultant. They support a range public and private sector organisations, universities, housing associations and housebuilders, as well as some interesting niche clients in logistics and manufacturing. This is an ideal role for someone working in Asbestos, who wants to get away from inspections and testing, moving into more of a strategic focussed role delivering assurance and consultancy services for clients. If you are an experienced Asbestos professional, working as a Senior Consultant or Technical Manager and you're looking to develop in a more consultative role then this could be the company for you. Work typically includes quality control reviews of asbestos data reports, collection of audit data, conducting site-based audits of asbestos suppliers and consulting with suppliers to ensure improvements. Join the North Eastern division of an established global safety team, delivering CDM Advisor & Principal Designer services to a range of clients across Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Defence, Infrastructure and Environment. Role is based in Newcastle, but the company do also have opportunities to work in North Yorkshire. This role is suited to someone who has experience delivering the role of Principal Designer for clients, as well as the wider advisory elements of the role such as PDA and CDM Client Advisor. The expectation as a Senior Consultant is that you have the skillset and ability to be proactive and assured in liaising with Clients, Designers, and Contractors on all areas of safety by design, as well as having the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure project targets are met. Our client is the specialised safety consultancy arm of a major global multidisciplinary consultancy. They are looking to hire an experienced Senior Construction Safety & CDM Consultant to join the business covering projects across the West Midlands and North West. Whilst this is a construction safety and CDM led role, there will be the opportunity for training and upskilling towards the Building Regulations side of the team, should you be interested in developing that skillset. Homebased role picking up projects between Manchester and Birmingham, paying 50,000 to 60,000 plus car allowance depending on experience. As Senior Consultant you will manage and delivering the safety and design risk aspects of various projects within the built environment.
