Fire Safety Inspector

Enjoy flexible working with this 12-month Fire Safety Inspector position, with the opportunity to become extended. Based within the social housing sector, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining fire compliance and protecting residents across a housing portfolio.

You will be working for a well-established local authority that values its residents, contractors and employees, with a strong focus on resident safety, compliance, attention to detail and effective partnership working.

As the Fire Safety Inspector, you will be:

• Carrying out inspections across social housing properties.
• Completing fire door inspections and identifying defects.
• Inspecting cavity barriers, fa ade, alarms and dampers.
• Inspecting passive fire protection measures and identifying compliance issues.
• Liaising with external contractors and fire safety specialists to coordinate response works.
• Working closely with housing, property and compliance teams to maintain resident safety.
• Collecting data and processing careful weekly reports

Fire Safety Inspector Experience:

• Previous social housing or residential property experience.

• Conducting inspections
• Strong understanding of fire safety compliance and resident safety.
• Ability to produce technical reports
