Quantity Surveyor Blackpool Office Based + UK-Wide Site Visits £45,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Discretionary Bonus

The Role

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and site teams, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects, typically valued around £1m.

This is a varied role offering exposure to fast-paced projects across the hospitality and retail sectors, with opportunities to develop your career within a stable and growing contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Preparing and managing project budgets and cost plans.
• Producing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontract packages.
• Monitoring project costs and maximising commercial performance.
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
• Working collaboratively with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Undertaking occasional UK-wide travel to project sites.

About You

We're keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who have experience within the fit-out or refurbishment sector and enjoy working in a fast-moving project environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit-out, refurbishment or interiors.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, procurement and variations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• Experience within Food & Beverage, Hospitality or Retail projects.
• Experience working for a main contractor.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
