Position: Site Manager Location: Pets at Home, Horsham, RH12 1HR Duration: 2 Weeks Rate: £280 Per Shift Start Date: Immediate The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a retail fit-out/refurbishment project at Pets at Home, Horsham . This is a short-term contract lasting approximately 2 weeks , requiring a hands-on manager who can ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, and acting as the main point of contact on site throughout the project. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site activities and subcontractor performance. Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures. Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks. Monitor project progress and maintain programme targets. Ensure quality standards are achieved and defects are addressed promptly. Complete and maintain all relevant site documentation. Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders. Manage deliveries, site logistics, and housekeeping. Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and company policies. Site Manager Required - Industrial Roofing Project Location: Halesowen Duration: 5 Months Start Date: Monday 24th August Rate: £230 per day We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee a major industrial roofing project in Halesowen This is a £900K project involving the installation of a new roof over existing industrial units across three warehouse blocks. The successful candidate will work closely with the roofing contractor and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee all site activities and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently. Coordinate and manage a workforce of approximately 4-10 operatives. Liaise closely with roofing contractors and subcontractors. Monitor site safety, productivity, and quality standards. Move and coordinate plant and machinery as required.
