As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in London, you'll play a key role in managing costs for construction projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining high standards. This position supports the property industry by overseeing budgets, contracts, and project finances to help clients achieve their goals.

They have been recognised by known construction governing bodies for their honesty, integrity and refreshing approach in value engineering all whilst maintaining service delivery excellence on behalf of their clients. They operate within multiple sectors including Residential, Mixed-Use, Hospitality and Commercial and are keen to look at other sectors also.

Description

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Monitor project spending and ensure it aligns with approved budgets.
• Assess and manage risks related to costs and contracts.
• Negotiate contracts and manage tender processes.
• Provide financial advice to clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare detailed reports on project finances and performance.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in cost management.

Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

• A strong background in quantity surveying, particularly in the property industry - Residential would be desirable
• Contract Administration and Employers Agent experience - desirable
• Experience in managing budgets, contracts, and financial reporting.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• A professional qualification or membership in a recognised body (e.g., RICS).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from 45,000 to 70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
