Plumber/Pipefitter

Artisan Recruitment are looking for Plumber or Pipefiiters on a perm basis for one of there established clients.

Established in 2007, our client began as a mechanical HVAC company with a clear mission: to deliver high-quality, reliable mechanical installations across the South of England.

Over the years, the business has grown into a first-choice contractor and trusted partner, particularly within the healthcare sector, while continuing to expand its expertise and client base across a range of commercial industries.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit experienced Plumbers and Pipefitters to join their permanent team and work on a variety of commercial projects across Bracknell, Berkshire and London.

The Role. As a Plumber / Pipefitter, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality mechanical installation works across commercial projects. You will work as part of an experienced site team, delivering installations to a high standard while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and reliability.

Projects may include healthcare, commercial, public-sector and other specialist buildings, providing a varied workload and opportunities to develop your experience across different environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of commercial plumbing and mechanical pipework systems
• Installation of hot and cold water services
• Installation of heating and chilled water pipework
• Working with copper, steel, stainless steel and other pipework systems
• Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics and specifications
• Measuring, cutting, fitting and installing pipework accurately
• Carrying out pressure testing and associated commissioning activities
• Working alongside mechanical engineers, supervisors and other site trades
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout each project
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant regulations, specifications and health & safety requirements
• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
• Reporting any issues or potential problems to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager
• Working professionally and positively with clients, colleagues and other contractors on site
