We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading MEP contractor working on a large-scale residential development in Billericay.

This is a site-based position overseeing mechanical installation works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

The Role

• Supervise mechanical installation works across a large residential development

• Manage and coordinate mechanical engineers, subcontractors and site teams

• Ensure works are installed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements

• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, construction and other trades

• Monitor progress and report back to the Project Manager

• Assist with programme planning and sequencing of works

• Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet required standards

• Manage site documentation, RAMS and permits where required

• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures

• Liaise with the wider site management team to resolve technical and installation issues

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Chargehand / Mechanical Foreman

• Experience working on large residential developments

• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations

• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors

• Good understanding of construction programmes and sequencing

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Relevant mechanical qualifications are desirable
