Ductwork Project Manager Location: Central London Sector: Commercial Fit Out Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience We are currently working with a leading specialist contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Ductwork Project Manager to deliver a number of high-value commercial fit out projects across Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in ductwork / ventilation who is looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion. The Role As Ductwork Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of commercial fit out projects, overseeing the ductwork package from design coordination through to installation, commissioning and handover. Your responsibilities will include: Managing ductwork projects from pre-construction through to completion Taking responsibility for programme, costs, quality and delivery Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers Working closely with main contractors, consultants and other MEP disciplines Reviewing drawings, specifications and design information Coordinating ductwork installations with wider MEP services Managing variations, valuations and project costs Attending design, progress and coordination meetings Ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required quality standards Managing project documentation, commissioning and handover About You The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience as a Ductwork Project Manager / Mechanical Project Manager Strong technical knowledge of ductwork and ventilation systems Experience delivering commercial fit out projects Experience working for a specialist ductwork, mechanical or MEP contractor Strong project management and client-facing skills Ability to manage programmes, budgets and subcontractors Good understanding of drawings, specifications and MEP coordination A strong track record of delivering projects through to completion Central London commercial fit out experience is highly desirable. This is a site-based position overseeing mechanical installation works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. This role will focus heavily on site surveys and the assessment of existing electrical installations, working closely with the wider project team to establish site conditions and identify requirements ahead of the planned works. Previous prison or secure-sector experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong electrical background who have experience carrying out site surveys, inspections or working within complex live environments. The Role As Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out and overseeing electrical site surveys, gathering information from site and supporting the project team with the planning and delivery of the works.
