General Labourer
Tier 1 Construction Site
Location: Exeter
Rate: 12.71 per hour PAYE / 16.63 per hour via Umbrella. 8 hours a day
Start Date: 28/09/2026
GM Recruitment are currently recruiting General Labourers to work on a busy Tier 1 construction site.
This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking labourers looking for work with a reputable contractor. This is a temporary position.
The Role
- General labouring duties across a busy construction site
- Assisting skilled trades and site management
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Moving and distributing materials around site
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Supporting the wider site team as required
- Following all site health & safety requirements
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Labourer card
- Previous construction site experience
- Full PPE safety boots and hi-vis
- Reliable and punctual
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Able to work as part of a team
- References from previous construction work
