Fire Consultant

We re working with a growing and well-established consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Consultant to join their team in the North West.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a fire professional looking for variety, responsibility and the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of construction projects.

As a Fire Consultant, you ll provide specialist fire safety advice across a range of construction and development projects, working closely with clients, design teams, contractors and other consultants.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing fire safety consultancy and technical advice across a variety of projects
• Reviewing architectural and construction proposals from a fire safety perspective
• Producing and reviewing fire strategies, assessments and technical reports
• Supporting clients and project teams throughout the design and construction process
• Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders
• Ensuring projects meet relevant fire safety legislation, standards and guidance
• Attending site visits and project meetings where required
• Contributing to the continued development of the consultancy s fire safety services

We re looking for someone with a solid background in fire consultancy within the construction industry, who is confident working independently and communicating with a range of project stakeholders.

You ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working as a Fire Consultant / Fire Engineer within the construction sector
• Strong knowledge of fire safety principles, legislation and relevant standards
• Experience working across a range of construction projects
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
• A professional and client-focused approach

Relevant qualifications and professional membership are advantageous.

• Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
