About You We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in building physics, energy performance and sustainable building design . You will ideally have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Building Physics, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Sustainability or a related discipline. Experience working in a building physics, energy modelling or sustainability consultancy environment. Practical experience using IES VE for energy modelling and simulation. An understanding of building physics principles, including heat transfer, solar gains, ventilation and thermal comfort. Experience undertaking overheating and/or thermal comfort assessments. An understanding of building energy performance and low-carbon design principles. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to interpret modelling outputs and turn technical analysis into practical design advice. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage your own workload while working effectively as part of a wider project team. Desirable Experience Experience in any of the following would be advantageous: UK Building Regulations and energy performance requirements. Part L compliance modelling. TM59 overheating assessments.
