Location: Coventry
Hours: 25-35 hours per week
Pay Rate: 15.00 - 16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join our team in Coventry. This is a varied role responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks across the building, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-presented at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general building maintenance and repairs.
- Undertake basic plumbing tasks such as replacing taps, fixing leaks, and unblocking sinks.
- Assemble and install flat-pack furniture.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance requirements.
- Perform minor decorating and handyman duties as required.
- Replace light fittings, bulbs, and carry out basic electrical maintenance where appropriate.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Liaise with external contractors when specialist repairs are required.
