The Opportunity

A well-established maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Plumbing-Biased Multi Trader to join its growing team. Providing property maintenance services to commercial clients, landlords, tenants and educational establishments, this role offers a varied workload across planned and reactive maintenance projects.

The Role

Working across commercial and educational properties, your primary focus will be plumbing maintenance and repairs, alongside a range of general multi-trade duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations
• Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently
• Repairing and replacing taps, toilets, sanitaryware and pipework
• Completing general building maintenance works
• Undertaking basic carpentry, decorating and patch plastering tasks
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Delivering excellent customer service whilst on site
• Maintaining company standards and compliance with health and safety procedures

Requirements

Essential

• Proven experience as a plumber within a maintenance environment
• Strong multi-trade skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong customer-facing approach

Desirable

• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent Plumbing qualification
• Experience working within commercial properties, schools or public sector environments
• Additional trade skills such as carpentry, decorating, roofing repairs or general maintenance
