Contract Electrician
About the Role
We are looking for experienced Approved Electricians to join our contractor network and support a range of clients across various electrical projects.
This is a flexible contract opportunity, ideal for an electrician who is looking to provide 3 5 days of contracting work at a time and is confident working across a variety of electrical environments.
The Role
As a Contract Electrician, you will be carrying out a range of electrical works for our clients, including installation, maintenance, testing and inspection.
You will need to be a confident and competent electrician who can work independently, adapt to different sites and take on a variety of electrical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works
- Complete EICRs, testing and inspection
- Fault finding and electrical diagnostics
- Installation and replacement of electrical equipment and components
- Carry out general electrical works across domestic, commercial and/or industrial environments
- Identify and rectify electrical faults
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to current regulations
- Complete relevant certification and paperwork
- Work professionally and independently on client sites
Requirements
- Fully qualified Approved Electrician
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong experience completing EICRs and testing & inspection
- Confident carrying out a wide range of electrical works
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good knowledge of BS7671 and electrical safety regulations
- Previous contracting experience preferred
- Own tools and relevant PPE
- Reliable, professional and able to commit to 3 5 days of contract work
