Multi Trader / Kitchen & Bathroom Installer for Void & tenanted properties

Location: East & West Sussex, Surrey & Berkshire, North Kent.

Salary: Subject to experience

Job Type: Self-employed / Full-time

We are looking for an experienced Multi Trader / Kitchen & Bathroom Installer to join our team, carrying out refurbishment, maintenance and installation works across residential and empty properties.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled all-rounder with experience working in both void and occupied properties, delivering high-quality work while maintaining a professional and respectful approach with tenants and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out refurbishment and maintenance works to void and tenanted properties.

Install, refurbish and repair kitchens and bathrooms.

Complete plumbing, carpentry, tiling, patch plastering, and general building works.

Carry out repairs, remedial works, snagging and making good.

Prepare void properties to a high standard ready for re-let.

Complete works in occupied properties while minimising disruption to tenants.

Communicate professionally with tenants, customers, and site teams.

Work from job sheets and complete works within agreed budget and timescale.

Identify additional works and report any issues promptly.

Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Complete all work to a high standard and in line with relevant health and safety requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Multi Trader / Kitchen & Bathroom Installer.

Experience working on both void and tenanted properties.

Strong kitchen and bathroom installation skills.

Competent in multiple trades, including:

Plumbing

Carpentry

Tiling

Plastering / patch repairs

General building and making-good

Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Able to work independently and manage your own workload.

Reliable, punctual and professional.

Full UK driving licence.

Previous experience working within social housing or local authority contracts.

Relevant trade qualifications.

Asbestos awareness.

Experience using mobile job management systems.

CSCS or other relevant cards/certificates.
