M&E Project Manager

Channel Islands

I'm working with a long-established and highly respected main contractor in the Channel Islands looking to appoint an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across a range of construction projects.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and play a key role in projects from pre-construction through to successful handover. You'll work closely with project teams, consultants and subcontractors while taking ownership of building services delivery across multiple developments.

The Role
  • Managing M&E subcontractors throughout project delivery
  • Coordinating mechanical and electrical works with the main construction program
  • Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and subcontractor submissions
  • Monitoring quality, progress and compliance on site
  • Supporting commissioning, testing and handover activities
  • Working closely with project, site and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Driving program performance and resolving technical issues when required
The Ideal Candidate This role would suit someone currently working as a:
  • M&E Project Manager
  • M&E Manager
  • Building Services Manager
  • MEP Manager
  • Senior M&E Coordinator
You'll also have
  • A recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge
  • Experience working for a main contractor or M&E contractor
  • The ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work packages
  • Experience delivering commercial, residential or mixed-use construction projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A genuine desire to relocate to the Channel Islands long term
