Static Fabric Maintenance Technician/Fabric Engineer

Location: Castle Donington

Salary: 32,000 - 35,000 Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM (40hrs)

The Role

Looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a reliable, time-served/qualified Fabric Engineer to take full ownership of building maintenance. Working autonomously, you will manage planned (PPM) and reactive tasks to keep this busy site running smoothly.



Key Responsibilities

  • Fabric Repairs: Ceiling repairs, painting, door servicing, skirting replacements, and defect fault-finding.

  • Compliance & Safety: Monthly Legionella tap testing/flushing, taking utility meter readings, and supervising subcontractor RAMS.

  • Stock & Site Support: Monitoring heating, fire, and lighting systems; ordering stock/parts; and assisting with general porterage or minor landscaping.



What We Need From You

  • Trade Background: Recognized qualification or time-served experience in a busy service environment.

  • H&S Savvy: Ability to understand, prepare, and oversee Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

  • Versatility: Self-motivated mindset with basic plumbing, mechanical, or electrical skills highly preferred.

  • Essentials: Full driving licence, excellent attendance record, and willingness to join the on-call rota.

  • Vetting: successful candidates must be willing to undergo a DBS check.
