Housing Officer
- Pay Rate: £18.39 PAYE / £23.20 Umbrella

- Job Type: 3 Month Temporary Contract (subject to change)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Hybrid Working: 2 days working from home / 3 days in office based in Morden
We are seeking a Housing Officer to join our South London Housing team. This dynamic role involves delivering responsive services to our customers, managing various projects, and supporting potentially vulnerable customers. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our community by ensuring effective communication and fulfilling service promises to our residents.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Participate in the sign-up and needs assessment of customers, particularly during the handover of Regeneration properties.
- Ensure complaints are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Support entire blocks of residents during service restoration periods.
- Organise and deliver estate events and facilitate coordination of responses to customer inquiries by working closely with the Neighbourhood Response team, Customer Service team, and Clarion Response.
- Regular home working is supported, with necessary attendance at offices and residents' homes as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a liaison or customer service role within housing or a similar sector.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for handling potentially sensitive situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel across the region as needed.
