Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compliance-driven Technical Services Manager specialising in Fire Doors to oversee statutory compliance across a portfolio of contracts in Central Scotland.



Package

  • Salary of 48,000 to 52,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Hybrid role
  • Company car provided for travel across sites
  • Permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • 24 days of annual leave plus 9 public holidays

Duties

  • Act as the central focal point for fire door statutory compliance to eliminate risks and performance penalties
  • Manage and mentor the mobile inspection team including daily scheduling and performance reviews
  • Maintain and oversee digital recording systems to ensure all data is accurate
  • Ensure exceptional quality control and safety standards across self-delivered and subcontracted works
  • Compile and present detailed compliance and progress reports for senior operational directors


Qualifications

  • Completed a relevant trade apprenticeship in joinery or construction
  • NVQ Level 3 in Joinery
  • Valid health and safety qualification such as SMSTS or IOSH
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Central Belt
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Disclosure Scotland PVG clearance to work in secure environments
