Job Description

Astute's Power team is partnering with a successful and leading Civil contractor to recruit a Project Support Coordinator for its Cheshire site.

The Project Support Coordinator role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract (FTC) basis and comes with a salary of 28,000 starting in August 2026.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Management and approval of timesheets to provide weekly Payroll submission utilising Chime.
  • Submission of PAYE new starter information to Human Resources to comply with legal, health & safety requirements and data protection.
  • Tracking and reporting starters, leavers, operative transfers & annual leave ensuring all relevant departments are fully updated.
  • Processing of hires, off hires, purchases, operated hire, repairs and exchanges in supporting the project's needs using COINS and Autodesk software.
  • Raising material requisitions on COINS as and when required by the site team, receipting of goods delivered via COINS & updating Autodesk.
  • Actioning weekly unmatched invoice reports and managing all delivery queries.
  • Maintaining stationery levels and ordering consumables through COINS and Construction Marketplace.
  • Ad-hoc administration duties for the Project Team such as but not limited to bookings for accommodation, travel, arranging meetings and catering for events.
  • Candidates must come from a construction background or have worked in a construction environment before.
  • If not local, must be able to drive and get to site efficiently each day.
  • Payroll experience is advantageous however training will be provided.

  • 28,000 per annum
