Job Description
1. Core DutiesInstallation:
First fix - conduit, trunking, cable tray, wiring, containment in commercial, industrial, domestic
Second fix: Sockets, switches, lighting, distribution boards, data, fire alarm, emergency lighting
Testing & Inspection: Dead testing, live testing, Zs, R1+R2, IR. Complete certs to BSth Edition
Fault finding: Diagnose and repair faults on circuits, panels, machinery
Reading drawings: Follow schematics, GA drawings, specs, method statements
Compliance: Work to IET Wiring Regs, Building Regs Part P, site RAMS, isolation procedures
Team work: Liaise with site management, other trades. Supervise apprentices/improvers if needed
NVQ L3 Electrotechnical + AM2 OR City & Guilds 2365 L3 + 2357
C&G 2382-18 Wiring Regulations. Must be current
Proven on-site experience. JIB grade it as "Electrician" or "Approved Electrician"
