Main Responsibilities - Installation & Testing: Assist Electricians with installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems - Quality & Compliance: Ensure work meets design specs, BS 7671 wiring regs, and project quality plan - Documentation: Help update as-built drawings, test certs, and O&M manuals - Safety: Full adherence to site HSE, work at height, and permit-to-work rules - Coordination: Liaise with trades, supervisors, and client teams to keep work flowing - Progress & Productivity: Hit daily targets, manage materials, and keep workspace tidy Requirements - Qualifications: Electrical NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent - Experience: 1-2 years on new build/commercial projects. EfW/industrial experience a plus - Tickets: Valid CSCS card (Green/Blue). ECS or JIB card helpful - Skills: - Good with hand tools and test equipment (multimeter, etc) - Read electrical drawings and P&IDs - Basic fault-finding - MS Office for reporting - Physical: Fit, able to work at height, in confined spaces, and shifts if needed Desirable - EfW/Process experience: Familiarity with turbine, boiler, or emissions control systems - AutoCAD/Electrical software: Experience reading or creating schematics - Safety tickets: First Aid, Fire Warrant, Working at Height - Safety passport (CCNSG, EMSS or equivelant)
