Main Responsibilities - Installation & Testing: Assist Electricians with installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems - Quality & Compliance: Ensure work meets design specs, BS 7671 wiring regs, and project quality plan - Documentation: Help update as-built drawings, test certs, and O&M manuals - Safety: Full adherence to site HSE, work at height, and permit-to-work rules - Coordination: Liaise with trades, supervisors, and client teams to keep work flowing - Progress & Productivity: Hit daily targets, manage materials, and keep workspace tidy Requirements - Qualifications: Electrical NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent - Experience: 1-2 years on new build/commercial projects. EfW/industrial experience a plus - Tickets: Valid CSCS card (Green/Blue). ECS or JIB card helpful - Skills: - Good with hand tools and test equipment (multimeter, etc) - Read electrical drawings and P&IDs - Basic fault-finding - MS Office for reporting - Physical: Fit, able to work at height, in confined spaces, and shifts if needed Desirable - EfW/Process experience: Familiarity with turbine, boiler, or emissions control systems - AutoCAD/Electrical software: Experience reading or creating schematics - Safety tickets: First Aid, Fire Warrant, Working at Height - Safety passport (CCNSG, EMSS or equivelant)

Core Duties Machine operation: Safely operate 1.5T micro diggers up to 30T+ 360 excavators. Tracks + wheels Groundworks: Dig foundations, trenches, basements, reduce levels, pond/attenuation tanks Loading: Load dumpers, wagons, skips. Sling loads with chains/straps Grading & profiling: Fine grading, battering slopes, footings to laser/level Breaking out: Use hydraulic breaker, bucket, auger, grapple, quick hitch attachments Site set-up: Check ground conditions, position machine safely, set up exclusion zones Maintenance: Daily checks, grease, fluids, report defects. Clean machine + keep it tidy Safety: Follow RAMS, use banksman/signaller, underground services checks with CAT & Genny

- Surface Prep and Coating: Prepare surfaces, apply industrial coatings using airless, air-assisted, or conventional spray systems, and ensure quality finishes. - Safety and Compliance: Work safely within a live construction site, follow health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean workspace. - Teamwork: Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project deadlines. - Equipment Maintenance: Handle painting equipment, ensure tools are in good condition, and report any issues. Requirements: - CSCS card - IPAF licence (for access equipment) - Experience with spray painting in industrial settings - Attention to detail and quality standards - Full UK driving licence helpful

An Electrical QA/QC role on a factory new build project in the UK involves ensuring electrical installations meet quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include: - Inspecting and Testing: Verifying electrical systems, components, and wiring comply with BS7671 and project specs. - Documentation: Reviewing and approving electrical drawings, test certificates, and inspection reports. - Quality Checks: Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality procedures. - Non-Conformance Reporting: Identifying and reporting defects, ensuring corrective actions are taken. - Liaising with Contractors: Coordinating with electrical contractors, engineers, and site teams. Typical requirements include: - Qualifications: 2391, 2394, or 2395 certification, with ECS Gold Card. - Experience: Proven QA/QC experience in electrical engineering or construction. - Knowledge: Strong understanding of BS7671, electrical safety, and quality management systems.
