Temporary Accommodation Reduction Officer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Waltham Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Temporary Accommodation Reduction Officer this role will be based at: 701 Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17 4JF, 2 days office based 3 days remote.

The right candidate will:

• To provide specialist support in reducing temporary accommodation use by matching suitable customers to a range of properties in the Private Sector sourced through our range of schemes.
• To minimise admissions into temporary accommodation through timely offers at the earlier stages of the homelessness journey and maximising exit out of temporary accommodation through effective use of other private sector options

We require the following:

• Previous experience working in a temporary accommodation setting.
