Job Description
Artisan Recruit are currently looking for experienced TIG Welders experince working aling side pipefitters to join our workshop team in Swadlincote.
This is an initial 8-week temporary assignment with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.
The Role
Working within our workshop, you will be involved in the fabrication, fitting and welding of stainless steel pipework systems. Candidates should be comfortable carrying out both welding and pipefitting duties as part of the role.
Requirements
Proven TIG welding experience on 316 stainless steel pipework
Knowledge within process, food, beverage or pharmaceutical environments
Experience working with SCH10 and SCH40 stainless steel pipe
BPE (pharmaceutical-grade) experience highly desirable
Orbital welding experience would be advantageous
Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
Ability to pass in-house welding qualification tests
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Hours
Monday to Friday
7:00am 4:00pm
Additional 10-hour shifts available
