Job Description

Are you an experienced telehandler operator available for an immediate start in Newcastle? We are currently recruiting for a reliable driver to provide short-term cover on a busy new build housing site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a telescopic handler safely across a busy residential development.
  • Unloading incoming material deliveries and organizing storage areas efficiently.
  • Supplying bricklayers, joiners, and roofers by loading materials onto loading bays and scaffolding.
  • Conducting daily vehicle safety inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure all lifting operations comply with site safety standards.


Role Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS card (with the Telehandler category).
  • Proven experience operating plant on new build housing sites.
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
  • A safety-first attitude and the ability to hit the ground running without supervision.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent reliability and punctuality.
