Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: London

Contract Rate: Up to 26.00 Self Employed

Job Type: Contract leading to potential Full-Time position

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks unsupervised
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical building systems
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with health & safety regulations
• Work on the following systems and equipment:
• HVAC systems and AHUs
• Lighting systems (testing, repairs)
• Fire alarms and emergency lighting
• Water temperature testing (L8 compliance)
• Pumps, motors, actuators, and generators
• 3-phase power supply and UPS systems
• Basic awareness of heating systems (pipework, heat exchangers)

Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in building services or facilities maintenance
City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical
17th or 18th Edition (preferred)
Strong fault-finding skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills - client-facing role
Able to work independently and manage own workload
