Job Description

The Role

We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeller to support a busy programme of work converting scan data and legacy drawings into accurate BIM models. This role is well-suited to someone with strong Scan-to-BIM experience who is comfortable working from LiDAR point clouds and 2D information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert LiDAR scan data and existing 2D drawings into coordinated BIM models
  • Develop, update and maintain accurate BIM models in line with project requirements
  • Produce high-quality 3D models suitable for design, coordination and downstream use
  • Support wider modelling activities across multiple projects
  • Ensure models comply with agreed BIM standards, workflows and naming conventions
  • Collaborate with project and design teams to resolve modelling queries

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a BIM Modeller or Scan-to-BIM role
  • Strong experience working with LiDAR / point cloud data
  • Proficient in Revit (essential)
  • Experience converting 2D drawings into 3D BIM models
  • Good understanding of BIM standards (e.g. PAS 1192 / ISO 19650 preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience on existing buildings or refurbishment projects
  • Knowledge of additional tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Recap, or similar
  • Previous experience working on UK-based projects

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role. Based in Chester.

The salary would be 50-55k depending on experience.
