Working Supervisor / Ganger needed in Stevenage

Location: Stevenage
Rate: £23.00 £25.00 per hour
Duration: Up to 30 weeks
Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm
Pay: Minimum 9 hours paid per day
Job Type: Temporary

Stridden Limited is recruiting on behalf of an established contractor for an experienced Working Supervisor / Ganger to join a busy commercial site in Stevenage.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hands-on supervisor who can lead from the front, keep works on programme, and maintain high health and safety standards on site.

Working Supervisor Key Duties:

• Supervising operatives on site carrying out brick slip removal
• Ensuring works are progressing in line with programme, or ahead of schedule where possible
• Liaising with the site management team
• Maintaining site health and safety standards at all times
• Supporting the team on site where required

Working Supervisor Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Working Supervisor / Ganger is essential
• Previous experience in demolition / cladding a benefit
• Blue CSCS card as a minimum
• Gold or Black CSCS card would be an advantage
• Full PPE required, including hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots
• Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling
• One recent work reference required at application stage
• Must be able to travel to site reliably
