Groundworker Marcham Streetworks Drainage Connection Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Groundworker with Strong Drainage experience for a project in Marcham, Oxfordshire. Location: Marcham, Oxfordshire Duration: Approximately 1 week then moving to another site in Banbury for 5-6 weeks Project: Drainage / Sewer Connection Start: Monday Duties The successful Groundworker will be carrying out drainage works including: 1.8m deep drainage connection Connecting onto the existing main sewer Drainage works in preparation for a new construction site Excavation and preparation of drainage runs Pipe laying and associated groundworks Working safely around an existing sewer and services Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures Requirements Applicants must have: Valid CSCS card Valid Streetworks / NRSWA ticket (preffered) Strong previous drainage and groundworks experience Experience with deep drainage and sewer connections Confident working at depths of approximately 1.8m Full PPE Reliable transport to Marcham Recent relevant references Previous experience carrying out connections onto existing main sewers is highly desirable. Telescopic Forklift in Benson Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established Groundworks Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to join their site in Benson, Oxfordshire. Location: Benson, Oxfordshire Rate: £22.00 per hour Duration: 3 weeks Hours: 7:30am 4:00pm Hours Paid per Day: 10 hours Job Type: Temporary Job Description This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to work with an established Groundworks Contractor on their project in Benson. The successful candidate must be confident operating a Telescopic Forklift on a busy construction site, assisting with the movement, unloading and distribution of materials as required. Key Duties Duties will include: Operating a Telescopic Forklift safely and efficiently Loading and unloading deliveries and materials Loading out materials for trades across the site Moving and positioning materials around the project Maintaining a clean and tidy stock/materials area Carrying out daily checks on the machine Working safely around other plant, operatives and trades Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures Assisting with general site duties where required Requirements Applicants must have: Valid CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Forklift Blue/Competent Operator Card Strong previous experience operating a Telescopic Forklift Previous experience working on groundworks/construction projects Full PPE Ability to commute reliably to Benson Recent relevant references Ability to commit to ongoing work Equal Opportunities Stridden Limited is an equal opportunities employer.
