Groundworks Working Supervisor needed in Leamington Spa Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire Rate: 220 - 240 per day Hours: 7.30am to 5.00pm Job Type: Temporary Duration: 10 weeks Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Groundworks and Civils Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Working Supervisor to join their team in Leamington Spa. Groundworks Working Supervisor Key Duties: Your role will involve: Supervising and working alongside a groundworks gang on a commercial project. Overseeing pile caps and pile cropping works. Supervising a 3m reduced dig excavation package. Managing concrete blinding and slab preparation works. Ensuring the site team adheres to the company's working procedures. Supervising and coordinating daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Reporting all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents and issues. Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment, ensuring the team wears full PPE at all times. Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, etc. Leading on all aspects of health, safety and welfare on site. This includes, but is not limited to, risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans. Groundworks Working Supervisor Requirements: The ideal candidate will have: SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification. CSCS Card. Previous experience supervising groundworks packages including pile caps, pile cropping, deep excavations and concrete works. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures. Ability to lead a team whilst remaining hands-on when required. Shuttering Carpenter needed for Trowbridge Location: Trowbridge Rate: 22- 25ph Duration : 3-4 months Hours: 7.30am to 5pm Job Type: Temporary Job Description: Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Civils & Groundworks Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to work on their busy site in Trowbridge Key Duties: Construct and install shuttering/formwork for concrete structures. Assemble, erect, and dismantle formwork systems Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, and fit timber and formwork materials accurately. Install and secure formwork panels using bolts, clamps, tie rods, and associated fixings. Ensure formwork is aligned, level, and braced correctly prior to concrete pours. Work alongside steel fixers and concrete teams to meet project requirements. Inspect formwork for quality and safety compliance. Strip and remove shuttering after concrete has cured. Maintain a safe and tidy working area in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
