Housing Administrator

  • Location: Avondale Square SE1
  • Temp contract: 3 months with possible extension
  • 17.98 PAYE or 23.41 Umbrella per hour
  • Job Type: Full-time 35 hours (Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm)

We are seeking an Housing Administrator to support a dynamic team. This role involves managing data entry and administrative tasks related to tenancy visits and property inspections across various estates. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in data management within a housing or local authority context.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and input data accurately into the housing management system from tenancy visits and inspections.
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, handling correspondence, and maintaining procedural manuals.
  • Support the Tenancy Visiting Officers by processing the data collected during visits and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare and publish reports and dashboards for the management team, ensuring timely and effective communication of data insights.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating tenancy visits and ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of data privacy and security, adhering to departmental and legal standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or data entry role, preferably within a housing or local authority setting.
  • Strong proficiency in using housing management systems, and other data entry software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data management.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
