Fire Risk Assessor

Our client, a well-established and growing fire safety consultancy, is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent assessor currently operating at Tier 2 / Intermediate level on the Fire Risk Assessor Register who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and highly professional environment.

Working remotely from home, you will carry out Fire Risk Assessments across a diverse portfolio of properties nationwide, including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed-use premises.

This role also offers structured development and training to progress into completing Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments, making it an ideal opportunity for someone keen to advance technically.

• Conduct Fire Risk Assessments in line with current legislation and industry standards
• Assess a broad range of property types across the UK
• Produce clear, accurate, and professional reports with practical recommendations
• Liaise with clients, duty holders, and stakeholders regarding findings and remedial actions
• Manage your own diary and travel schedule effectively
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation, standards, and best practice

• Tier 2 / Intermediate level on the Fire Risk Assessor Register (or equivalent competency level)
• Proven experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments independently
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of current fire safety legislation and guidance
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision

• Experience across varied property sectors
• Interest in progressing to Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments
• Additional fire safety qualifications or memberships

• £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
