The role of Building Host in the property sector involves supporting the efficient running of facilities, front-of-house and space in a shared meeting and by ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional on-site service. This permanent position, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, is based in the Bolton area and offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits.

Description

The Building Host will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for building tenants and visitors, providing professional assistance and support.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building reception, ensuring all facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  • Be actively involved with the marketing team organising business events and activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Manage tenant requests and ensure their needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist with the implementation of health and safety procedures within the building.
  • Support the Facilities Management team with administrative and operational tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to building operations and tenant interactions.

Profile

A successful Building Host should have:

  • Previous experience in building or office management.
  • Excellent customer service skills and client management experience.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to building management.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
  • The ability commute to Bolton on a daily basis.
  • Some flexibility to work outside normal working hours to cater for business events.
