Job Title: Site Based Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver large-scale refurbishment and fit-out projects across industrial and storage unit environments. Projects are delivered nationwide, and the successful candidate must be comfortable with UK-wide travel.

This role involves end-to-end management of complex construction projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and client representatives to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the management and delivery of refurbishment and new build projects valued between £8m-£20m
  • Manage projects typically lasting 36-42 weeks
  • Oversee site operations, including direct management of an on-site manager
  • Act as the primary point of contact on site, liaising closely with client representatives and stakeholders
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Attend and contribute to fortnightly resource planning meetings, discussing labour and resource requirements
  • Ensure all health & safety, compliance, and reporting requirements are met
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 07:30 - 17:00

Salary & Package

  • Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Car allowance

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale refurbishment or fit-out projects across industrial and distribution units
  • Strong background in industrial or commercial construction environments
  • Comfortable managing teams and working autonomously on site
  • Flexible and willing to travel extensively across the UK
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
